Las Vegas, Nevada (6 January 2020): The annual 2020 Pepcom Digital Experience is a comprehensive and diverse exhibtion of startup consumer technology companies prior to the opening day of the 2020 CES. Pepcom has gradually expanded its reach to parallel the theme of the CES. For example, this year's focus by the CES on electric mobility was clearly visible at Pepcom. Three companies in particular stood out. First, CAKE company from Sweden premiered their series of electric bicycles for urban mobility. With adequate range and a small battery pack for very fast charging, this allows convenient mobility in congested urban centers. Second, NUI.COM introduced its electric scooter during the show. This is also convenient for about an 80 to 100 miles range with quick charging for the urban center customer. Third and lastly, UNAGI introduced its foldable electric scooter again very convenient for limited range but efficient for fast charging at home and at work with the ability to be immediately portable. As in previous Pepcom shows, the smart home is always a central theme. Examples include companies like Lynq with their smart tracking device that uniquely doesn't require subscriptions, 4MOMs introduced their smart crib with a weight limit of 25 lbs to increase likelihood of child and parent getting enough rest, Japanese company Fujitsu introduced their standalone smart computer keyboards for the first time in North America and company Celestron introduced it own smart telescope for those who are interested in Astronomy as a hobby or even as a side profession.
